These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ExpenseBee mobile application (the "App"), developed and published by ByteStudio ("we", "our", or "us").
By installing, downloading, or using ExpenseBee, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the App.
1. License & Usage
ByteStudio grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use ExpenseBee on compatible iOS and Android mobile devices for personal or internal business financial tracking purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, modify, or resell the App or any part of its source code.
2. Local Financial Data Responsibility
ExpenseBee operates on an offline-first model. All transaction entries, income sources, category budgets, and PIN protection settings are calculated and saved directly in your device's local database.
- You are solely responsible for managing, backing up, and securing your device and the financial data stored within ExpenseBee.
- We strongly recommend using the built-in CSV export feature regularly to save backups to your preferred storage location.
- ByteStudio is not responsible for data loss caused by device damage, operating system updates, uninstallation, hardware failure, or unauthorized access to your physical device.
3. ExpenseBee Pro Subscriptions & Purchases
ExpenseBee offers optional premium features ("ExpenseBee Pro") unlocked via in-app purchases or recurring subscriptions processed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Billing & Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle through your respective store account (Google Play or Apple ID).
- Refunds: All payments and refunds are handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective refund policies.
- Feature Availability: ExpenseBee Pro features (such as ad removal, PIN lock, custom categories, and advanced CSV reporting) are managed via RevenueCat entitlement services.
4. No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice
ExpenseBee is designed strictly as a self-help personal record-keeping utility. The App, its calculations, budget indicators, and generated reports do not constitute professional financial, investment, accounting, or tax advice. For binding financial planning or official tax filings, you should consult certified accounting professionals.
5. Intellectual Property
All copyrights, trademarks, logos, UI designs, graphics, code structures, and trade secrets related to ExpenseBee belong exclusively to ByteStudio. All rights reserved.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ByteStudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profit, or income resulting from your use of or inability to use ExpenseBee.
