This Privacy Policy outlines how ByteStudio ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the Sarkari Jankari mobile application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Data We Collect

To deliver timely government job alerts, admit card notifications, and exam updates tailored to your requirements, we collect the following categories of information:

A. Personal Information (Provided Voluntarily)

  • Name & Contact Details: Email address and optional phone number when creating an account.
  • Preferences & Interests: Your state of residence, educational qualifications, and exam sectors of interest (e.g., SSC, Banking, Railways, State PSC) to filter relevant listings.
  • Social Category (Optional): Your social category (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) which can be entered to calculate specific application fee details and age relaxation eligibility.

B. Device and Technical Data (Collected Automatically)

  • Unique Device Identifiers: We collect a hardware-derived Device ID (UUID) to identify your device, maintain session persistence, store offline settings, and prevent unauthorized service access.
  • FCM Push Notification Token: We collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to send instant alerts regarding new recruitments, results, or admit cards.
  • Device Metadata: OS version, device model, and language settings to ensure optimal app performance and UI rendering.

C. Precise Location Data (GPS)

  • If you grant permission, the App accesses your device's precise GPS location. This is used solely to identify your state of residence, enabling us to automatically deliver state-level government job notifications and content relevant to your area. You can enable or disable location tracking at any time via your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your information for the following legitimate purposes:

  • Providing the Service: Customizing your onboarding, filtering job posts, and rendering relevant exam bulletins.
  • Push Notifications: Dispatching real-time notifications about recently released notifications, admit card downloads, and final results.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Monitoring app speed, crash reports, and navigation flows to enhance UX.
  • Monetization & Advertising: Serving banner, interstitial, or rewarded advertisements via Google AdMob.

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate trusted third-party SDKs and service providers to support the App's core services. These networks collect information in accordance with their own policies:

  • Firebase & FCM: Delivers push notifications and manages diagnostic logging. Firebase Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your preferences, profile indicators, and notification logs for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your profile details, you may execute the data deletion command inside the App settings page or email us at riya.bytestudio@gmail.com. Upon receiving a valid request, we will delete your records from our databases within 30 days, unless legal mandates require retention.
