Welcome to ShiftLedger. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you generate while using our app. This Privacy Policy explains how ByteStudio ("we", "our", or "us") manages your data in the ShiftLedger mobile application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you consent to the data handling practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not download or use the App.

1. Offline-First Privacy Guarantee

ShiftLedger is designed as an offline-first application. All of your inputs, including:

• Workplaces and position details
• Hourly wages, overtime rates, and night differential premiums
• Shift times (start, end, break durations, and notes)
• Custom income goals and automatic tax configurations
• Registered employee rosters (for manager mode)

are stored exclusively on your physical device in a local SQLite database. We do not maintain external database servers for your shift records. We do not collect, transmit, upload, or sell your personal work log history, financial metrics, or employee information to our own or third-party servers.

2. Account Registration

You are not required to create an account, register an email address, or provide phone authentication to use ShiftLedger. All application functions are fully unlocked and initialized locally on your device.

3. Device Metadata & Third-Party Integration

To maintain, monetize, and improve the app, we utilize standard cross-platform services and software development kits (SDKs). These third-party providers may collect certain metadata automatically:

• Google AdMob: ShiftLedger is ad-supported. Google AdMob uses unique device advertising identifiers (such as Android AAID or iOS IDFA), IP addresses, and diagnostic information to serve contextual or personalized banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. • Expo Framework: Provides the core runtime environment for ShiftLedger. Expo may collect anonymous build indicators, OS versions, and hardware device models to help debug compatibility errors. Expo Privacy Policy.

4. Data Deletion

Because all of your data is stored locally on your device, deleting the App will permanently delete all of your workplaces, shift records, and settings. If you wish to purge all entries, you can uninstall the App or use the "Delete Workplace" option inside the App. As we do not store your data on external servers, we cannot recover your records once the App is uninstalled or cleared.
