Terms of Service - Vital Metrics

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before downloading, installing, or using the Vital Metrics mobile application (the "App") operated by ByteStudio ("us", "we", or "our").

By downloading or using Vital Metrics, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not download or use the App.

1. Eligibility

To use Vital Metrics, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction). The calculations and physical health estimates are designed for adult biometric ranges and should not be applied to children.

2. Non-Commercial & Educational License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App strictly for your personal, non-commercial fitness and health tracking purposes.

3. No Medical Advice Disclaimer

CRITICAL NOTICE: Vital Metrics is a biometric estimator and mathematical calculation tool.

Not Diagnostic: The estimates generated by the App (such as BMI, BMR, TDEE, Calorie Deficits, Macro Splits, and Body Fat percentage) are based on standard mathematical models (such as the Mifflin-St Jeor equation) and are not medical diagnoses, professional medical advice, or therapeutic plans.
Physician Consult Needed: Always consult with a licensed physician or healthcare provider before embarking on a weight loss program, restricting calories, changing nutrition macro allocations, or initiating strenuous physical activity.
Liability Exclusion: Under no circumstances shall ByteStudio be liable for any health decisions, dietary changes, injuries, or medical conditions resulting from your use of the estimates calculated by the App. You assume full responsibility for how you choose to apply the calculated values. 4. Device Restrictions & Reverse Engineering

You agree not to copy, modify, adapt, translate, prepare derivative works from, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the App. You may not bypass or alter ad placements, local database structures, or security parameters implemented in the build.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied. We do not warrant that the calculations will be 100% accurate, error-free, or meet your exact health guidelines.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteStudio and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from (i) your use of or inability to use the App; (ii) any results generated by the calculations; or (iii) any loss of local database logs or configuration settings.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license to use the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you violate any provision of these Terms.
